How to stay Hydrated when Cycling.
05/01/10
In case it is summer then it probably is hot during the afternoons. Cycling is an outdoor activity that might experience the real heat of the sun. So the hooter the season is the faster are you loosing your body liquid. It is important that you stay hydrated when cycling. Our blood contains nearly 50% liquid in the form of water. Water helps in maintaining the body temperature. So if you are losing around one percent of liquid from your body then you might lose your endurance and speed. There are a number of athletes who simply heel and avoid drinking too much of water. Just because of all the fun and excitement they tend to drink less water. So during the summer seasons you have to try and ride the cycle during early mornings and late evenings. This might help in maintaining hydration of your body. You also have to be sure that you practice drinking water when riding your cycle. You should also ensure that you drink enough of water before you begin riding your cycle. You should try to carry your water bottle with you and keep in sipping it whenever you get a chance to drink. You should always try to drink water even before you are really thirsty.
